Position Title Student Records Assistant, BOA Job Duties

Butler Community College is seeking a Student Records Assistant for the Andover Campus Registrar office. This position serves as the initial contact person for all Registrar functions and services at the Andover site, serving both internal and external customers (students, alumni, faculty, staff, and general public).

Required knowledge and skills

A. Excellent human relations, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

B. Multi-tasking capabilities, especially in an environment where attention is demanded from several different areas at once.

C. Above average data entry skills.

D. Ability to interpret and enforce college policies.

E. Ability to work in a team environment.

F. Attention to detail and confidentiality a must, with a high degree of accuracy.

G. Must be able to work well with upset people, and handle high pressure situations.

H. Must be able to deal with all stakeholders in a professional manner.

Required experience

A. Administrative experience required.

B. PC and data entry experience and proficiency required.

Required educational background

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
