JOB DESCRIPTION

Research Aide 1

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00

The Research Aide 1 will support the organization in managing NDSR (Nutrition Data System for Research) data entry for Epidemiological studies. This is a great position for students that are interested in dietary analysis or food ways and how they are used in research.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting dietary records and entering into NDSR system
  • Following study protocols for entry rules
  • May involve researching restaurant items or developing recipes
  • Interacting with researchers and/or test subjects

Qualifications:

  • Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
  • Detail oriented self-starter
  • Preferred interest or background in Nutrition or food studies
  • CITI Certification in Group 1 Biomedical Research is required for this position and is free for Tulane affiliates. You can obtain certification after date of hire, but cannot begin working on site until after certificate is awarded.
