SUMMARY: Lewiston Public Schools has created a student resource center specificallycally designed to support students experiencing homelessness. The center serves as a central hub where students can access a variety of resources and services aimed at enhancing their academic performance, well-being, and overall growth. Available services include food access, clothing assistance, information on community resources, school point-of-contact support, as well as facilities for showers and laundry.
This support position serves PreK-12 students and families out of primary location, LPS Student Resource Center. This support position helps students make connections within the community and provides the necessary resources to access school.
Salary Range: (19.59/hour - 24.35/hour)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Three or more years of directly related field experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general counseling periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of sta?/administration and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
