IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL:
Represent CTL as a resource to connect the UNM community to available academic services.
Provide superior customer service to student users, staff, and faculty.
Disseminate information about CTL Student Learning Assistance policies and procedures to student users, staff, and faculty.
Coordinate information and appointments between tutors and student users.
Use CTL in-house computer system to schedule appointments for student users.
Maintain confidentiality of student users and information.
Perform general office duties including word processing and data entry.
Facilitate support for services both in-person and online.
Maintain organization of CTL locations.
Perform other CTL related duties as assigned.
Requirements For Consideration:
10-25 hour work week with scheduling flexibility
Attendance at pre-semester training (week before classes begin)
Attendance at weekly Friday trainings (3pm-5pm) during the semester
Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico in a degree-seeking program
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WITH OPEN AVAILABILITY and WORK STUDY. But ALL applicants are welcome. Must maintain acceptable academic standing, advance towards academic degree.
Minimum QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Experience working with computers
Experience working with the public
Ability to perform tasks accurately.
Experience with online platforms.
