Job Description

General Description:

The School of Education Office Assistant will assist Education faculty and staff with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with filing and organizing tasks
  • Assist with copying, sorting, and shredding materials
  • Assist with converting paper files to electronic files
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the Hufford Resource Lab
  • Run various errands across campus
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  • Willingness to learn new software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with faculty and staff
  • Punctual

Number of hours per week: approximately 10

Hours: Varies, during office hours M - F, 8am - 5pm

Number of positions available: 1

Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hour
