Position Title: Student Service Cnt Specialist

Department: Student Service Center

Term of Assignment: Continuing

Term End Date, If Applicable:

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible

Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend work required.

Salary: Targeted Salary Range: $48,560-$52,200

Travel: No travel

Brief Statement of Duties

Brief Statement of Duties: Participate in the continual improvement of services provided by the Student Service Center. Manage the student withdrawal Title IV financial aid process, coordinate the student account billing, and the overage (refund) processes.

Required Specialized Training/Certifications:

Required Minimum Work Experience: Three years progressive work experience in an office setting to include customer service and office procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:

Possess a knowledge of or ability to research Federal Title IV regulation and guidelines.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to assess customer needs and to independently act to provide solutions.

Ability to resolve complex issues or concerns for both internal and external constituents.

Demonstrated ability to perform in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Additional Desirable Qualifications: Associate''s Degree in General Business/Management.
