The Position:
The Student Services Director at Clermont Northeastern Schools provides strategic leadership and oversight of special education and student support services to ensure high-quality, compliant, and equitable programming that meets the diverse needs of all learners. This is a full-time, 260/261-day contract position.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
- Special Education Programming Oversight: Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of special education programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and alignment with district goals
- Student Services and Related Services Oversight: Supervises and supports district-level special education staff and related service providers to ensure effective service delivery and professional growth
- Administrative Collaboration: Collaborates with principals and district leaders to determine staffing, improve programming, and support student outcomes across buildings
- Budget Management: Manages budgets, grants, and fiscal resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds for student services
- Compliance Oversight: Oversees compliance processes including IEPs, Section 504, Medicaid billing, and reporting to state agencies

Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a valid State of Ohio Superintendent''s Certificate or License.
- Compliance: Successful completion of BCI/FBI background checks and a valid Driver''s License.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of school district processes, data-driven priority setting, and the ability to facilitate people through systemic change.
- Resilience: Ability to serve as a role model for students and staff, demonstrating problem-solving and empathy in all interactions.
Working Conditions:
The role requires maintaining visibility in school buildings and at events. It includes occasional operation of a vehicle in inclement weather and the ability to take immediate action in cases of emergency to maintain a culture of safety.
