Under general supervision, the Student Services Specialist collaborates with team members in recruitment, enrollment, testing, and retention for various programs and represents MATC processing high volume admissions applications at high schools and community organizations. Work is diversified requiring knowledge of student services and the use of judgment, analysis and decision making within established procedures. Supervision received is general in nature using established policies and general objectives occasionally referring to supervisor for policy clarification or interpretation; works with other professionals in a teamwork approach. Communication is continuous between the division, school partners, specialized agencies, and community organizations.

Qualifications
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Education/Experience: Associate degree in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or Marketing with at least three (3) years of related experience*
Preferred Experience: Bachelors degree in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or Marketing with at least one (1) year of related experience*
Preferred License/Certification: CPR/First Aid Certification.

Start Date: This position supports the Community Education Division and is available to start as soon as possible.
Hours: This position requires 19 hours per week, 100% on site/in person at our downtown Milwaukee Campus. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, generally between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm.Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited.
Salary Information: Hourly rate is listed to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicants employment and educational background as listed on the fully completed job application.
