Job Goal: Build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ashland community. Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Lead grade level teams through our equitable multi-level systems of support (EMLSS) system. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handles confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.
The instructional coach uses special attained knowledge, educational training, and experience to strengthen the skill of the classroom teacher and/or support staff in order to increase student achievement.
This position requires, but is not limited to the following:
Valid Wisconsin Teacher Certification or equivalent.
Master''s Degree (preferred).
Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.
Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.
Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
