JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as an Instructional Aide and make a direct impact on student success every day! In this dynamic role, you'll partner with classroom teachers to support students' academic, social, and behavioral growth. You'll help create an engaging learning environment, collaborate with general education staff, provide structure and encouragement for students, and actively supervise during recess and lunch.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

As an Instructional Aide, you'll play an essential role in supporting both students and teachers by:

  • Assisting in developing, modifying, and adapting instructional materials to meet student needs.

  • Supporting students as they build academic, communication, social, and independent skills.

  • Helping maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Providing hands-on instructional support, including guiding independent work, enrichment, and remedial activities.

  • Assisting with daily routines such as lunch, snack time, and classroom cleanup.

  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

  • Participating in ongoing training to grow your skills, during assigned district or federal trainings.

  • Helping maintain an inviting, organized, and safe learning space.

  • Promoting and following all district policies, state and federal laws, and nondiscrimination practices.
