STUDENT SUPPORT LAB INSTRUCTOR MCA SUMMARY The Student Support Lab Instructor supports student retention, engagement, and academic achievement throughout the student lifecycle while providing instructional and skills-based support within the laboratory environment. This role serves as a key resource for students by identifying and addressing barriers to success, monitoring academic progress, conducting proactive outreach, and reinforcing hands-on clinical and laboratory competencies. The ideal candidate demonstrates experience in student coaching, advising, training, instruction, or skills development; the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and procedures; proficiency with student information systems, learning management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related educational technologies; and strong communication skills with a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality. Standard office equipment is used routinely, including-but not limited to-computers, real-time communication systems, phones, and printers. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried position. It is 40 hours a week. This is a hybrid position. Work schedules may vary based on student needs and institutional requirements and will include evening and weekend hours, i.e., a minimum of two (2) Saturdays per month are required.
