The School District of Amery is hiring a full-time Office & Recess Paraeducator for Amery Intermediate School. This position is 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) on student contact days, plus five days before or after the school year as assigned by supervisor.
This paraeducator will provide student supervision during multiple daily recess periods, support small-group academic interventions through the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, and assist with general office responsibilities as needed.
As part of a team of recess supervisors, the paraeducator will help ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students during several recess periods throughout the school day. In the academic support role, the paraeducator will work with small groups of students to provide targeted reading and mathematics interventions using district-approved curriculum resources and instructional materials.
Office responsibilities will include filing, copying, organizing materials, answering routine requests, and assisting with other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. The paraeducator will work collaboratively with teachers, office staff, and administrators to support the daily operations of the school.
Maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to all privacy requirements is an essential responsibility of this position.
