SAHAL SERVICES LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Professional / School-Based Caregiver to join our team in Carroll, OH. Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day
Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility as needed
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student goals
Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavioral support strategies
Document and report student progress, incidents, and observations to appropriate personnel
Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom and school environment
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary
Requirements:
Experience in caregiving, paraprofessional support, special education, or a related field preferred
Ability to work patiently and effectively with students of varying abilities and needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or CDA a plus
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with school and state requirements
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for students
