Lake Center Christian School welcomes applications from college students seeking to complete their student teaching placement in a Christ-centered educational environment. Student Teaching Experience

Student teachers at Lake Center Christian School have the opportunity to:

• Observe and assist experienced teachers in a Christ-centered classroom environment.
  
• Participate in lesson planning and classroom instruction under the guidance of a supervising teacher.
  
• Support classroom management and student engagement.
  
• Integrate biblical principles into teaching and classroom interactions.
  
• Gain practical experience in curriculum delivery, assessment, and instructional strategies.
  
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and development.
  

Requirements

Requirements for Consideration

To be considered for a student teaching placement, candidates must:

• Complete and submit the Student Teaching Application.
  
• Submit placement requests at least three months prior to the desired start date.
  
• Be enrolled in an Ohio college or university teacher preparation program for Ohio licensure.
  
• Demonstrate a commitment to Christian education and support the mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
