Student Teaching Experience<\/span>

Student teachers at Lake Center Christian School have the opportunity to:<\/span>

  • Observe and assist experienced teachers in a Christ -centered classroom environment.<\/span>

  • Participate in lesson planning and classroom instruction under the guidance of a supervising teacher.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support classroom management and student engagement.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Integrate biblical principles into teaching and classroom interactions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Gain practical experience in curriculum delivery, assessment, and instructional strategies.<\/span>

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and development.<\/span>

    Requirements for Consideration<\/span>

    To be considered for a student teaching placement, candidates must:<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Complete and submit the <\/span>Student Teaching Application<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Submit placement requests <\/span>at least three months prior<\/span><\/b> to the desired start date.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Be <\/span>enrolled in an Ohio college or university teacher preparation program for Ohio licensure<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Demonstrate a commitment to Christian education and support the mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
