Description

The Student Teaching Assistant will attend class meetings and support student learning through discussion, collaborative activities, course-material support, and exam review.

Examples of Duties

• Assist the professor in several in-class discussions
• Assist the professor in short answer and reading evaluations
• Assist the professor in monitoring class participation on Canvas
• Assist the professor in proctoring exams
• Assist the professor in other class-related duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with undergraduate students
• Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Familiarity with the course material and expectations
• Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with the instructor
