Job Summary/Basic Function

The Athletics Department's Sports Medicine Staff is currently seeking students to serve as athletic training aides.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Willingness to perform varied duties.
  • Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time
  • Students interested in a medical career preferred but not required
  • Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints)

Preferred Qualifications Job Duties

Task may included but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the set-up and tear-down of athletic contests and practices
  • Maintain inventory of athletic training supplies
  • Assist in clerical procedures
  • Maintain athletic training room organization and cleanliness
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when moving equipment
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
