Job Description

Location: Building and Floor: Lodge B

Supervisor: Name: Frances Dalis

Title: Director, Psychological Services Center

Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):

Working closely with the PSC Leadership this assistant is a liaison between Graduate Student Therapists (GSTs) for therapy and testing cases.

Duties and Principal Responsibilities:

Meets with students prior to testing supervision

Does all intakes for therapy and testing cases and assigns the case to graduate student therapist

Attends weekly PSC meeting and staff meetings.

Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Doctoral level student in good standing who successfully completed a minimum of one year practicum training.

Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate

Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/1/26 End Date: 7/24/27

Evaluation procedures and schedules: Evaluated in December, May and July.
