Location: Twain Elementary School \n \nDepartment: Twain ES \n \nArea:Central \n \nContract Months:10 \n \nHourly Rate: $$15.00 \n \nJOB SUMMARY\n \nUnder direct supervision, performs various tasks as assigned by supervisor. These tasks may include office support, tutoring, assisting in the classroom or technical assistance within the Technology Department.\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Performs general office duties which may include filing, data entry, and processing of work orders.\n Assists with tutoring students.\n Assists in the classroom.\n Performs general computer support within the Technology Department.\n Performs special projects as directed by supervisor.\n \n\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED\n\n Performs other job-related duties as assigned.\n \nEDUCATION\n \nBasic Reading and Writing\n \nWORK EXPERIENCE\n \nNo experience\n \nSKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION\n \nOffice Equipment (Computer, Copier)\n \nLEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES\n \nNo supervisory or direct people management responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff.\n \nWORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT\n \nWork and tasks are often straightforward, routine, structured and guided by established policies and procedures. Little, if any, independent judgment is required, outside of making basic choices in the selection and application of established methods. The job receives frequent, ongoing supervision.\n \nBUDGET AUTHORITY\n \nNo budget development activity is required.\n \nPROBLEM SOLVING\n \nDecisions are made on routine matters affecting few individuals and usually within the confines of the job's own department. Specific job activities and results are typically reviewed closely. There are limited requirements for developing new ideas or changes in methods, procedures or services\n \nIMPACT OF DECISIONS\n \nFollows rules and procedures. Decisions can have minimal or no impact to HISD. Errors can be readily detected, usually by the employee, and, if made, would result in minor expense for correction.\n \nCOMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS\n \nBasic communication - very little communication required such as receiving basic instructions. Interactions are mostly with customers, own supervisor and co-workers in own department.\n \nCUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS\n \nFollows through with customer inquiries, requests and complaints.
