The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Residential Life, Housing and Food Services (RLHFS) seeks a Marketing Assistant to work closely with the RLHFS Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to promote residential life on campus. The role involves planning, creating and scheduling content for social media, managing metrics, and coordinating NV Bound housing tours.Responsibilities Develop and manage the social media calendar, posts and campaigns.Help manage social media metrics and reporting.Lead photo and video content creation.Assist with planning, organizing and scheduling NV Bound Housing Tours.Conduct general administrative tasks.Attend department meetings or other events as required.Required Qualifications Enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.Marketing or Communication Studies major.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with social media platforms.Strong interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva).Experience with Microsoft Office.Prior marketing or public relations experience.Schedule & Availability 15‑20 hours per week, flexible based on student schedule.Must be able to work shifts during regular business hours (Monday‑Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm) and occasional evenings or weekends as needed.Compensation Student Employee Level1.Location In‑person only.EEO Statement The University of Nevada, Reno is an equal‑opportunity employer.
