Job Summary

• Assist with social media content for the College of Education
• This position will be responsible for creative, engaging content creation for student-facing channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and occasionally Facebook, under the guidance of the communications team and in keeping with university brand standards, social media guidelines, and strategic goals.
• Create and gather content for social media posts. This may include takeovers, interviews, recaps of events, live content
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work the agreed-upon number of hours each week.
• Arrive on time and relay scheduling conflicts in advance.
• Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and stakeholders.
• Exercise sound judgment with all duties and responsibilities.
• Adherence to university social media guidelines and content approval chain

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

• Current undergraduate student; College of Education enrollment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and current trends
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
