Job Summary/Basic Function

Work one-on-one with students that need additional help with their English Class.

Required Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing during the time of employment.
• Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring.
• Must be referred by a faculty member in the department.
• Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints)

Preferred Qualifications Job Duties

• Contacting individual tutees to arrange tutoring sessions.
• Preparing ahead of time for tutoring sessions.
• Promptly reporting hours worked into E-time.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Be able to sit and work with students during entire tutoring session.
