Job Summary/Basic Function

Assist students as needed on academic coursework; may include group tutoring

Required Qualifications

• Must be a current Psychology Major in good academic standing during the time of employment.
• Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring.
• Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).

Preferred Qualifications Job Duties

• Contact individual tutees and arranging sessions
• Prepare for tutoring sessions
• Assist with coursework and preparation for exams
• Contact course instructor if you have any questions about course material
• Meet with tutees at least 2 hours per week

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Be able to sit and work with students during entire tutoring session
