Job Title:
Studio Business Manager
Overview:
This role is primarily responsible for revenue generation by renting small format production stages, offices, and equipment to audio, video, and alternative media clientele. Other responsibilities include managing client inquiries, conducting tours, and maintaining high occupancy rates through proactive outreach to producers, production companies, studios, and other industry professionals.
Duties:
- Sales & Outreach: Develop a pipeline of prospects, including producers, line producers, and entertainment executives, through existing contacts, networking, cold calling and other sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction, managing bookings, scheduling, and handling renewals.
- Showings & Tours: Conduct tours of studio spaces and production offices for clients to secure bookings.
- Contracting & Administration: Negotiate rates, process contracts, handle certificates of insurance (COI), and track security deposits.
- System Maintenance: Utilize CRM tools to track inquiries, update inventory availability, and generate reports on occupancy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years experience in video production, stage management, media rentals, and event space highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiating and client communication.
- Knowledge of CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, production scheduling tools, and working knowledge of audio and video production.
- Proven capability to close sales, meet targets, manage client accounts. Existing client list a major plus.
- Full time position. Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours to accommodate production schedules.

- Base plus commission. Listed base salary range is approximate. Final salary and commission will be determined commensurate with experience and expertise.
