Description
Description
THE PURPOSE: The Studio & Sample Coordinator is the operational backbone of True Religion's e-commerce photography pipeline. This role owns sample management, pre-production coordination, and retouching workflow tracking - ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time and that every asset moves cleanly from capture to final delivery. In a studio running 40 to 70 styles a day, the detail and follow-through this role brings directly determine whether shoots run on schedule and the business gets what it needs when it needs it.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):
Own end-to-end sample coordination for e-commerce photography, from pulling daily shot lists through tracking outstanding arrivals, flagging damaged product, and rolling unshot styles to future schedules
Build and maintain organized sample racks by department, NDC date, Full Price/Off Price status, and product matching - keeping the studio production-ready before every shoot
Build and distribute the daily studio shot list, pre-production communications, and all production documents to photographers, stylists, producers, and crew
Confirm daily shot goals are met (approximately 40 styles on single shoot days, 70 on double shoot days) by preparing and verifying all samples, accessories, and required matching products ahead of each shoot
Track all photography through the retouching pipeline, update trackers session by session, and send regular status updates to Creative, Merchandising, and E-Commerce
Flag delays, quality concerns, or missing assets proactively, and help drive timely resolution across teams
Support the Studio Producer with logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, freelance crew support, and purchase documentation
Prepare, open, and close the studio daily - maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment and restocking supplies as needed
Assist Merchandising with incoming TOP sample check-ins and support the Styling team with creative decks and SKU management
YOU ARE: A detail-oriented, production-minded coordinator who thrives in a fast-moving studio environment. You manage multiple sample flows at once without letting anything slip, and you communicate proactively the moment a timeline is at risk. You build organizational systems that actually hold up under pressure, adjust them when production needs shift, and show up ready every day knowing that the studio runs on your follow-through.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience in studio operations, production coordination, or fashion e-commerce
Experience managing product samples in a high-volume retail or fashion environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent productions
Familiarity with production tracking systems and e-commerce shot list management
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with a proactive approach to flagging risks and delays
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-set studio environment with sharp attention to detail
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Capture One
Background coordinating retouching workflows and digital asset delivery
Familiarity with e-commerce product photography standards and PDP shot list management
