Position Summary The Sub Administrator provides leadership and administrative support to promote a safe, positive,

and

high-performing

school

environment.

The

position

works

collaboratively

with

school

leadership

to

support

instructional

and

support

personnel,

student

success,

professional

growth,

and

effective

school

operations.

The

Sub

Administrator

helps

establish

and

maintain

high

standards

and

expectations

for

students

and

staff

and

supports

the

school

leadership

team

in

creating

an

environment

that

promotes

accountability,

collaboration,

continuous

improvement,

and

positive

outcomes

for

all

members

of

the

school

community.

Qualifications

Valid

K-12

Michigan

Administrative

Certification.

Master's

degree

in

Administration

and

Supervision

from

an

accredited

institution

with

a

major

in

Education

Administration

or

its

equivalent

in

the

area

in

which

they

are

certified.

Valid

Michigan

Teacher

Certification

with

a

minimum

of

three

to

five

years'

successful

experience

in

the

educational

field

is

preferred

but

not

Serve

as

a

substitute

for

provide

administrative

support

to

building

administrators

during

absences,

ensuring

continuity

of

school

leadership

and

daily

operations.

Build

and

maintain

students,

staff,

families,

and

community

stakeholders

to

foster

a

supportive

and

effective

school

environment.

Assist

in

the

supervision

and

administration

of

the

school's

instructional

programs.

Assist

in

supervising

instructional

programs,

including

reviewing

lesson

plans

and

conducting

classroom

observations

to

support

effective

instructional

practices

and

the

use

of

varied,

research-based

instructional

strategies

and

materials.

Establish

and

promote

high

standards

and

expectations

for

student

academic

achievement,

student

behavior,

and

staff

professional

performance.

Assist

in

the

implementation

of

Michigan

content

expectations,

District

curriculum,

and

applicable

secondary-level

academic

standards

in

English

Language

Arts,

Mathematics,

Science,

and

Social

Studies.

Support

the

implementation

of

research-based

instructional

strategies

that

promote

student

learning,

academic

achievement,

and

student

growth

and

development.

Assist

in

developing

and

implementing

the

annual

master

schedule

for

instructional

programs,

ensuring

sequential

and

appropriate

learning

experiences

aligned

with

the

school's

philosophy,

mission,

and

instructional

goals.

Assist

in

implementing

the

District's

performance

appraisal

system

and

support

teachers

in

establishing

and

achieving

professional

performance

objectives.

Assist

in

monitoring

and

evaluating

school

performance

through

the

collection,

analysis,

and

interpretation

of

student

and

school

data.

Assist

in

aligning

instructional

programs,

staffing,

materials,

equipment,

and

other

resources

with

school

goals,

priorities,

and

student

needs.

Assist

in

establishing

procedures

for

the

evaluation

and

selection

of

instructional

materials,

equipment,

and

other

educational

resources.

Promote

and

support

comprehensive,

ongoing,

site-specific

professional

development

aligned

with

identified

staff

and

student

needs.

Assist

in

monitoring

school

expenditures

and

the

responsible

allocation

of

resources

in

accordance

with

established

procedures

and

administrative

direction.

Assist

in

ensuring

compliance

with

applicable

federal

and

state

laws,

Michigan

regulations,

Board

of

Education

policies,

and

District

procedures.

Support

the

implementation

of

initiatives

designed

to

improve

instructional

quality,

student

achievement,

school

climate,

and

overall

school

performance.

Provide

administrative

leadership

and

support

in

addressing

student,

staff,

family,

and

operational

matters

as

needed.

Assume

appropriate

administrative

responsibilities

and

decision-making

authority

when

serving

in

place

of

an

absent

building

administrator.

Perform

other

and

responsibilities

as

assigned

by

the

Assistant

Superintendent

of

Curriculum

and

Instruction.
