Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sub Arc Welder to join a manufacturing team in Tulsa, OK producing critical equipment for the natural gas industry. This role focuses on high-quality welding, fabrication, and inspection-ready welds that meet strict production and integrity standards.

Required Experience & Skills
Ability to pass the required Sub Arc weld test
Experience with Sub Arc welding and hand welding processes
Knowledge of carbon arc gouging, 2G MIG, Flux Core, and/or 2G Stick welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Familiarity with welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment
Strong understanding of weld quality standards and inspection requirements
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production-driven environment
Reliable attendance, dependability, and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Sub Arc welding on production components and assemblies
Read blueprints and fabrication specifications to complete welding assignments accurately
Conduct wire welding, stick welding, flame cutting, and fabrication work as needed
Fit, align, and fabricate metal components to specification
Safely operate welding and cutting equipment
Lay out and mark materials for cutting, fitting, and welding
Cut metal using cutting torches or hand plasma equipment
Maintain weld quality to meet inspection, X-ray, and NDT requirements
Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
20"Roll-Out MIG Stringer Test
80D2 Wire | LA90 with 880M Flux
Hard Wire Hot Pass, Fill, and Cap
100% X-Ray Inspection followed by Lab NDT
Work Environment
Industrial welding / fabrication manufacturing environment
Production focused on natural gas industry equipment and critical welded components
Exposure to heavy welding equipment, heat, sparks, steel materials, grinders, and fabrication operations
Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance
