Sub Arc Welders Needed in Tulsa and Surrounding Areas

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sub Arc Welder to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality submerged arc welding operations on a variety of metal components. This position offers the opportunity to work on various shifts, providing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform submerged arc welding (Sub Arc) on structural steel, pipe, and other metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to ensure precise and accurate welding.
Set up and operate welding machines, including adjusting settings for specific jobs.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Work safely and adhere to all company and industry safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
Report any issues or defects in materials, equipment, or welds to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certification in welding (preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in submerged arc welding.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in a welding environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching during welding operations.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including a manufacturing environment.
