This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders'' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Basic Qualifications

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management)

Desired Skills

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement or related field
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
• Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers
• You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near one of our Lockheed Martin Space facilities in either:

• Denver, CO , King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA , OR Rocket City USA: Huntsville/Courtland, AL , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
