We are seeking a Level 2/3 Indirect Subcontract Administrator to support critical subcontract management activities involving large-scale component procurement, long-term supplier agreements, and milestone-based contract administration in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts from solicitation and award through closeout.
Manage high-value subcontracts for large components and assemblies, including cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, and major fabricated structures.
Develop, issue, and evaluate RFPs while conducting detailed proposal and cost/price analyses.
Ensure subcontract requirements align with prime contract flow-down obligations and company policies.
Negotiate, establish, and administer Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
Develop pricing strategies, volume commitments, and supplier performance frameworks.
Manage contract renewals, modifications, amendments, and ongoing supplier performance.
Develop and administer milestone-based Statements of Work (SOWs).
Establish performance milestones, deliverables, and associated payment schedules.
Monitor subcontractor performance and authorize milestone acceptance and payment approvals.
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
Resolve schedule, scope, performance, and contractual issues.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Legal, and Contracts teams to support program objectives.
Maintain complete subcontract documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Support audits, reporting requirements, and procurement reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Level 2: 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.
Level 3: 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.
Experience administering complex subcontracts and long-term agreements.
Demonstrated expertise in terms and conditions negotiation and contract management.
Experience with milestone-based SOWs and performance-based payment structures.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic aerospace environment.
Experience procuring large components, major structures, cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, or fabricated assemblies.
Aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing industry experience.
Familiarity with LTAs, MSAs, and strategic supplier agreements.
Knowledge of procurement compliance requirements, including ITAR/EAR regulations.
Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, NCMA CFCM, CPCM, or equivalent.
