Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders'' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience in subcontract/contract administration

Proven track record managing complex, high‑value subcontract portfolios (>$100 M) and leading cross‑functional teams.

Experience with FAR/DFARS, government contract clauses, and commercial contract regulations.

Experience with subcontract negotiations, amendments, and close‑out procedures.

Proficiency in contract management tools (e.g., SAP MM/PM, Oracle Procurement, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Desired Skills

8 Years of profesessional experience

Aero Industry experience

Advanced negotiation and contract drafting techniques

Strong analytical abilities for cost/price analysis, risk assessment, and Earned Value Management

Proficiency in contract‑management systems (e.g., SAP MM/PM, Oracle Procurement) and advanced Excel modeling

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills, including cross‑functional team leadership

Effective written and oral communication for briefing senior leadership and external partners

Ability to mentor and develop junior contract professionals

Project‑schedule integration experience within systems‑engineering environments

Knowledge of supplier performance metrics and corrective‑action processes

Relevant professional certifications

Ability to perform risk assessments, cost/price analysis, and performance metrics tracking.

Demonstrated capability to resolve contractual disputes and drive corrective action

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
