Subcontract & Procurement Analyst (Remote)
We are looking for a Subcontract & Procurement Analyst for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, contract and purchase order negotiations, vendor management, FAR/DFARS compliance, and timely acquisition of materials, equipment, software, and services supporting aerospace and defense programs.
This is a 6-month contract (extensions likely), Work Schedule is 9/80 and remote role in US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsiblities
- Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
- Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Source and purchase electronic components, build to print parts, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies in support of various Space Systems programs. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to help determine feasibility of buying products and to help establish price objectives.
- Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Confers with suppliers and learns to analyze suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
Requirements:
- 3+ months experience as procurement/Buying Analyst
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
