What does this role look like?

As an SPM on the FBM D5LE2 Subcontract PMO Team this role offers an innovative, fast-paced environment for an experienced supply chain professional to support the program office of one of the largest programs in Space. The Subcontract PMO Team provides a unique experience to interact directly with Program Office, Subcontracts, our Navy Partners, and a host of other internal functional partners. As part of a development program, this role will require flexibility, a self-starter mindset, and a willingness to explore new solutions.

In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:

  • Will support the Program Office on a day-to-day basis ensuring subcontract program execution.
  • Responsible for subcontract status reporting/metrics as required by program business rhythms.
  • Will support and partner with Subcontract Directorates on internal supply chain reporting metrics, shared projects & supplier status.
  • Will be responsible as Subcontract SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the team and will represent Subcontracts' perspective and interests in Program-level meetings & projects.
  • Some (up to 20%) travel to the customer and subcontractor locations is required. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office.

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

  • Proficient in using tools to organize, track, report, and convey data.
  • Strong presentation skills and willingness to serve as leadership delegate where needed.
  • Deep understanding of EVM
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally as Subcontracts SME to meet program needs.
  • Experienced in managing multiple business rhythms and developing operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information to various audiences.
