Position Summary
V-Tech Solutions Seeking a Subject Matter Expert I to support injury surveillance through data analysis, system development, and reporting related to drug overdoses and firearm injuries.
Key Responsibilities :
Support design and management of injury surveillance systems
Build and maintain analytic datasets (cleaning, merging, coding)
Develop dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau)
Perform statistical, predictive, and geospatial analyses
Improve data collection, quality, and monitoring processes
Provide epidemiological and statistical consultation
Conduct data linkage across datasets
Support study design, analysis, and publications
Ensure data quality and participate in QA/QI activities
Qualifications :
Education:
Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related field (required)
PhD/DrPH preferred
Experience:
1+ year of epidemiology or data analysis experience
Experience with study design and analytics
Skills :
SAS, R, STATA, SPSS
Tableau or similar visualization tools
Epidemiological methods & statistical modeling
Geospatial and predictive analysis
Strong analytical and communication skills
Performance Expectations :
Maintain 5% data error rate
Deliver timely, accurate reports
Support ongoing data monitoring and improvements
