Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Subscriber Communications Designer to create, develop, and deliver digital designs for subscriber lifecycle marketing campaigns. This role provides creative support for the daily production of weekly newsletters, email campaigns, push notifications, and in-app communications.
The ideal candidate has strong email and lifecycle marketing design experience, excellent production skills, and a highly developed understanding of visual design, message hierarchy, typographic layout, and pixel-perfect Photoshop compositing. This person should be comfortable manipulating key art quickly, applying established brand guidelines, incorporating feedback, managing multiple projects, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, consumer-focused marketing environment.
This is primarily a static digital production design role. Motion graphics and animation experience are not required. Candidates with portfolios focused primarily on UI/UX design or motion design without relevant email/lifecycle marketing experience are not the target profile.

Responsibilities

• Support Art Directors with the production of email, newsletter, in-app, and push marketing assets.
• Design pixel-perfect digital marketing and communications assets.
• Produce and maintain weekly newsletters and lifecycle marketing creative.
• Work on multiple newsletters and campaigns simultaneously, typically managing 2–4 newsletters in various stages of completion.
• Create iterations and versions of creative assets for lifecycle marketing campaigns.
• Apply established brand guidelines and maintain a consistently high level of design quality.
• Incorporate multiple rounds of feedback and revisions while maintaining attention to detail.
• Contribute custom creative concepts for larger lifecycle marketing campaign pitches.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, stakeholders, vendors, and agency partners.
• Organize, name, and maintain design files appropriately for team members, vendors, and agency partners.
• Communicate proactively throughout all phases of projects to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
• Provide design solutions based on feedback and changing project requirements.
• Work independently while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary creative team.

 
Basic Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience working as a Digital Production Artist, Digital Designer, Email Designer, Lifecycle Marketing Designer, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience designing email marketing, newsletters, CRM communications, or lifecycle marketing creative.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital communication design and production work.
• Experience creating assets that support customer retention, engagement, and lifecycle marketing programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including:
  • Message hierarchy
  • Typographic layout
  • Composition
  • Pixel-perfect digital production
  • Photoshop compositing
• Experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing or communications environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design quality.
• Ability to apply established brand guidelines consistently.
• Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle frequent feedback professionally and adapt quickly to changing direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Portfolio or examples of work are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Figma.
• Experience designing for entertainment, media, streaming, or other consumer-facing brands.
• Experience with high-volume email or CRM production.
• Experience supporting subscriber retention and engagement programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Art, Advertising, or a related field.
