    What You''ll Do

    • Provide individual, group, and family counseling for patients receiving substance use disorder treatment
    • Complete patient assessments, psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
    • Conduct admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing patient evaluations
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to support patient recovery
    • Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide patient education on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention
    • Maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

    Qualifications

    • Master''s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, or a closely related behavioral health field required
    • Eligible for Mississippi Level 4 Counselor certification (must apply within 90 days of hire)
    • Experience in substance use disorder, addiction treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling is preferred but not required
    • Strong communication, documentation, and patient engagement skills
    • Passion for helping individuals achieve long-term recovery
