Bilingual - Fluent Spanish speaking
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification preferred.
Relevant certification, licensure, or working toward licensure preferred
Proven experience in mental health counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings
Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluation
Familiarity with working with migrant, transient, or underserved populations preferred
Experience with crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse populations
Provide brief, solution-focused counseling.
Assess and address mental health and substance use concerns.
Develop individualized, short-term treatment goals with clients.
Conduct intake assessments to understand clients’ needs, histories, and goals using standardized diagnostic tools and medical terminology.
Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clients’ diagnoses.
Collaborate with clinic team and industry partners to best meet the needs of the clients.
