We provide supportive, trauma-informed services to individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. We are seeking dedicated Substance Use Counselors (ADT, CAC-AD, CSC-AD) who are passionate about helping individuals achieve and maintain recovery.


This is an excellent opportunity for both trainees and certified counselors to grow within a supportive and mission-driven organization.


What You’ll Do:


  •  Provide individual and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders 
  •  Complete intake assessments and contribute to treatment planning 
  •  Support clients with relapse prevention and recovery goal setting 
  •  Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standards 
  •  Collaborate with clinical and peer support staff 
  •  Connect clients to community resources and support services 
  •  Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training 
What You Bring:


  •  Active ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD credential in Maryland 
  •  High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s preferred for certified roles) 
  •  Strong communication and documentation skills 
  •  Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery principles 
  •  Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality 
  •  Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test 
Nice to Have:


  •  Experience in outpatient, IOP, or community-based treatment programs 
  •  Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction 
  •  Familiarity with EHR systems 
  •  Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus 
Physical Requirements:


  •  May require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs) 
  •  Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
