The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and 5-10 or more years of experience. Experience with Bentley Microstation, AutoCAD, and SAP/Maximo is required. Some travel will be required for this role . A Professional Engineering License is required. The candidate must also be self‑motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid‑remote work schedule available after 30 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Design utility‑scale electrical substation and transmission systemsResponsible for structural design of electrical substations steel structures and their foundationsPrepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principlesProvides guidance and direction on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codesAssists in developing, maintaining and updating engineering standardsProvides technical guidance to others regarding projects and disciplinesPerform quality reviews of project deliverablesAttend and/or conduct client and project meetingsMaintain excellent client relationsPromote salesReview scope, budget and schedule for project tasksAssist with proposals, marketing, project reports and technical presentationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering requiredSkills/Experience:PE License preferred5-10 years of experience requiredExposure to Bentley Microstation and AutoCAD is requiredExperience with the design of utility‑scale electrical substation and transmission systems requiredExperience with structural design of electrical substations steel structures and their foundations requiredExposure to Business Management Software (SAP/Maximo) is preferredCandidate must be willing to travelWade Trim is an affirmative action/Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
