A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Substation Commissioning Engineer, you are deployed either in the Raleigh test center or at a customer site, depending on the project phase. In the test center, you focus on system integration, PLC-based control functions, and validation of interlocking and control logic prior to shipment. On customer sites, you execute on-site commissioning activities from installation verification through energization and acceptance. In both environments, you work closely with engineering and project teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure systems are commissioned safely, reliably, and in accordance with project and customer requirements.

Travel, as needed (~6-9 months in Raleigh, 6-9 months in different location).
