Substation Construction Manager
Lead Critical Infrastructure Projects That Power Communities
We are seeking an experienced Substation Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of substation projects from the ground up. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, prioritizes safety, and knows how to drive projects forward while coordinating across multiple teams.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure projects that directly impact grid reliability and energy delivery.
What You'll Do
What You Bring
Proven experience managing substation or heavy civil/electrical construction projects
Strong working knowledge of substation construction, including:
Foundations, drill piers, and concrete work
Breaker pads and GSU containment pits
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics
Solid understanding of construction safety practices and hazard mitigation, including working near energized equipment
Experience leading teams, managing field operations, and resolving conflicts effectively
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project, along with construction-related software

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
