The candidate must be familiar with the design of One Line Diagrams, Control House layouts, Relay Panel Front Views, Elementary and/or Schematic Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Bills of Materials, and Cable Schedules. The design will be created using Autodesk products, mainly AutoCAD Electrical.This opportunity is available as a hybrid arrangement in Knoxville, TN, or as a fully remote arrangement in the Southeast region of the United States.Responsibilities Must be able to complete assignments within budget and schedule with a high degree of accuracyWork under the direction of a P&C Group LeadUtilize AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) based protection and control standardsPerform technical preparation of deliverables and other project documentsEnsure deliverables comply with IEEE and/or client standards and meet applicable design requirementsRequired Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology (ABET Accredited)Proficiency in verbal and written communication3-5 years experience in the design of substation P&C design deliverablesPreferred Qualifications Expertise utilizing AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE)Knowledge of Power Systems or Substation DesignKeen interest in learning and using the latest Autodesk software tools, methods, and technologies to develop Power Substation designProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseNotice to External Search Firms Mesa Associates, Inc. and its subsidiaries do not accept unsolicited resumes and will not be obligated to pay a placement fee for unsolicited resumes.
