Job Title: Substation Quality Control RepresentativeJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Representative to oversee a large substation project for a Data Center in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. This is a multi-year project with the potential to extend up to five years, depending on progress and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving subcontractor performance and leading crews to ensure the production and quality of the project meet high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage subcontractor crews in the construction of a substation.
• Ensure overall production and quality of the project and crew performance.
• Handle reporting aspects effectively as part of the job responsibilities.
• Oversee construction activities to meet safety, quality, and project standards.
• Communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders.
• Conduct standardized reporting and construction meetings.

Essential Skills

• Substation Quality Control expertise.
• Experience in Distribution Construction Management.
• Strong reporting and computer skills.
• Experience with electrical distribution and power delivery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Entergy projects is a plus.
• Background in construction, construction management, and project management.
• Knowledge in transmission, safety, and electrical systems.

Work Environment

This role involves fieldwork with subcontractor crews, requiring coordination and management over a 50+ hour work week. Work days are structured as 10-hour shifts, five days a week. The project offers a standard per diem and the opportunity for future projects with Entergy and other utilities. Holidays and PTO are offered, with some hours billed back to the customer.

This is a Contract position based out of Covington, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
