CDL is required (paid training & licensing by the district). The times and days may vary, dependent upon need.
Job Goal: Provide safe and efficient transportation of Pulaski Community School District students.
Essential Job Functions:

perform other tasks as assigned
Complete a pre-trip inspection of the school bus prior to each use
Refuel the bus
Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses and traffic laws, and applicable School Board policies and Administrative Procedures
Transport authorized students
Pick up and discharge students only at authorized stops
Take daily attendance of students who ride the bus
Maintain student discipline and report misconduct as prescribed by School Board policy. Student discipline responsibilities include students who are:
Waiting for the bus as it approaches
Boarding procedures,
While riding the bus,
Discharge procedures
Crossing the roadway while the bus remains stationery
Report all accidents to the Transportation Coordinator and complete required reports
Report all bus defects in writing to the Transportation Coordinator or fleet mechanic
Keep the assigned bus clean
Report hazardous road conditions on the school bus route or trip to the Transportation Coordinator
Report any school bus route change to the Transportation Coordinator
Drive for co-curricular activities as assigned
Cooperate with co-curricular advisors and/or other adult chaperons who are riding the bus
Adhere to the assigned time schedule or the bus route or co-curricular trip
Attend appropriate meetings as scheduled to remain current with laws, policies, and procedures related to school bus driving
Complete all logs or record keeping as required by the Transportation Department
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator
