Substitute Bus Driver

East Gibson School Corporation is seeking substitute school bus drivers.

Substitute drivers will become familiar with multiple routes as needed to meet the day-to-day transportation needs of our students. These routes can include morning and afternoon standard routes in a Class B bus, morning, mid-day, and afternoon routes in a special needs school bus, or school-day routes in an activity van. Drivers are expected to be able to perform basic safety standards, such as the ability to safely exit a Class B school bus through the rear emergency exit and operate all components of a school bus.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Indiana CDL with school bus endorsements
• Possess or obtain an ASM completion certificate
• Pass a background screen, including traffic violations
• Pass a DOT drug screen
