Job Description:
- Drive students K-12 to and from school
- Training provided!
- Positions range from 3 to 4 hours per day
- Hourly rate $23.60-$26.10 depending on route
Job Requirements:
- Pass CDL physical (two forms required)
- Pass written test at license branch for "P" and "S" endorsement
- Receive permit from license branch to allow driving on bus prior to skills test
- Complete skills test
- Must complete a three day bus safety education course by the Department of Education
- Must complete supervised four (4) hour observation and eight (8) hours driving with LCSC
- Must hold Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B with "P" and "S" endorsement)
- Must complete and clear expanded criminal history background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications:
- Be of good moral character
- Does not use intoxicating liquor during school hours or in excess at any time
- Not addicted to any narcotic drug
- At least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid Commercial Drivers License with appropriate endorsements issued by the state of Indiana or another state
- Possess a safe driving record
