QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Experience working with children preferred
• Ability to remain flexible to change in assignments or situations
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to be fair and consistent when working with students
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
• Ability to promote a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to monitor and guide student behavior

Responsibilities include: greet students; supervise students and bus environment; emphasize orderly student behavior; circulate, monitor and redirect students as needed; assure students are following bus behavior expectations; take action to maintain a safe and orderly environment; maintain a clean and safe bus environment; and perform related duties as assigned. Work is based on employee absenteeism and there are no guaranteed hours or benefits.
