This is a Substitute Bus Monitor position for the 2025-2026 school year.
Pay is $15.25 an hour. See attached Job Description for assignment details.
Primary Purpose Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities.
Qualifications High School Diploma Clear and valid Texas Commercial Drivers License Either or both endorsements preferred, not required
Passenger School Bus Special Knowledge Skills Must be 18 years of age Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam Ability to complete required bus driver safety training Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to manage student behavior Ability to communicate effectively with others Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment
Substitute Bus Monitors are not assigned a route or regularly scheduled duties. Will be contacted as needed.
