We are seeking dependable, caring, and flexible Substitute Childcare Teachers to support childcare centers in Decatur, Covington, and Conyers, Georgia.
This position is ideal for childcare professionals who enjoy working with children and want flexible opportunities to support different classrooms and age groups. Substitute teachers help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment when regular staff members are unavailable.
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom coverage and support as needed.
Supervise children and participate in age-appropriate learning activities.
Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and daily routines.
Assist with meals, diapering, restroom breaks, transitions, and rest periods as appropriate.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
Use positive classroom management techniques.
Follow childcare center policies, health and safety procedures, and licensing requirements.
Communicate professionally with center directors, teachers, and other staff.
Qualifications:
CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
Must successfully complete all required background checks.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
