Substitute Classroom Teacher 2026-2027

Summary:

We are seeking Substitute Classroom Teachers to join our team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to provide instruction and manage classroom behavior in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans and provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Manage classroom behavior and enforce school rules and policies
• Communicate with school administrators and regular classroom teachers as needed
• Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
• Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and behavior

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Current Washington State Teaching certification
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules.
• Must pass a fingerprinting process

Pay: $209.24 per full day
