Summary:
We are seeking Substitute Classroom Teachers to join our team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to provide instruction and manage classroom behavior in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans and provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and enforce school rules and policies
- Communicate with school administrators and regular classroom teachers as needed
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
- Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Current Washington State Teaching certification
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules.
- Must pass a fingerprinting process
Pay: $209.24 per full day
