Provides support when regular Crossing Guards are absent.
Job Duties
Ability to supervise children both visually and audibly to ensure their safety while crossing streets. highways for school. Must follow verbal directives and communicate effectively with children.
Walks along with children crossing streets. Holds small sign and motions with arms and hands to traffic and children. Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of self or others.
Works according to the school calendar year. Hours may vary from morning to afternoon or both.
Qualifications
Education Certification High school diploma or GED
